We are happy to announce that Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan operates the International Journal of Advances in Soft Computing and its Applications (IJASCA). The journal is a hybrid-access journal that is now indexed in SCOPUS (Elsevier). It has been publishing high-quality research since March 2009 within full-fledged, regular-basis production of three (special) issues per year. In recent years, there emerged a need for new investigations in Advances in Soft Computing (ASC) and its optimization solutions that effectively evolves in various fields of inquiry such as Actuarial Science, Financial Engineering, Water Resource Management, Remote Sensing, GIS, among many others. Most solutions to engineering problems have become easier by applying technologies based on (ASC). The mushrooming births of these advanced techniques and the new intelligent system architectures they possess are often due to fusion and hybridization of different learning and adaptation of soft computing techniques. This new approach has addressed the limitations and shortcomings of other individual techniques. Therefore, a quick and smooth production of research, which benefits researchers, developers, deployment engineers, technical managers, and educators, is of special scholarly importance. Our ultimate goal is to publish high-quality and original research following fair, smooth and strict peer-review process.
