Author Self-Archiving

The International Journal of Advances in Soft Computing and its Applications (IJASCA) supports the widest possible dissemination of scholarly research and encourages authors to share their work responsibly in accordance with the principles of Open Access, research visibility, and long-term preservation.

As a Fully Open Access Journal, IJASCA permits authors to archive and share their work without embargo, subject to the conditions outlined below.


Preprints

Authors may post the preprint version of their manuscript (the version prior to peer review) at any time on:

  • Personal websites.

  • Institutional repositories.

  • Non-commercial preprint servers.

  • Subject-specific repositories.

Authors are encouraged to indicate that the manuscript has been submitted to IJASCA whenever appropriate.

After publication, authors should update the preprint record by adding the complete citation, DOI, and a link to the final published article.


Accepted Manuscripts (Author Accepted Manuscript – AAM)

Authors may immediately deposit the Accepted Manuscript (AAM) in:

  • Institutional repositories.

  • University repositories.

  • Funding agency repositories.

  • Personal academic webpages.

  • Non-commercial scholarly repositories.

The deposited manuscript should include the following statement:

This is the accepted version of a manuscript accepted for publication in the International Journal of Advances in Soft Computing and its Applications (IJASCA). The final published version is available on the official journal website.

Once the article has been published, authors should update the repository record by adding the DOI and the permanent link to the Version of Record.


Version of Record (Published Article)

Since IJASCA is a Fully Open Access Journal publishing articles under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License, authors are encouraged to share the final published Version of Record immediately after publication.

The published article may be deposited in:

  • Institutional repositories.

  • University repositories.

  • Personal websites.

  • Research networking platforms, where permitted by their terms of service.

  • National and international digital repositories.

The published Version of Record must:

  • Remain unmodified.
