Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration by another journal.
  • All listed authors have approved the submitted manuscript and agree to its submission to IJASCA.
  • The manuscript has been prepared in accordance with the Journal's submission requirements and is suitable for peer review.
  • The submission file is provided in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) or LaTeX format.
  • All figures, tables, references, and required declarations (e.g., Conflict of Interest, Funding, Data Availability, and AI Disclosure, where applicable) are included in the manuscript.
  • The authors have reviewed and agree to comply with the Journal's Publication Ethics, Copyright, Licensing & Author Rights Policy, Open Access Policy, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy.
  • The manuscript will be submitted exclusively through the Journal's Open Journal Systems (OJS).

Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines

The International Journal of Advances in Soft Computing and its Applications (IJASCA) welcomes high-quality original research articles, review papers, and other scholarly contributions within the Journal's scope.

Authors are encouraged to prepare manuscripts carefully before submission to facilitate an efficient editorial and peer-review process.


Manuscript Preparation

Authors should prepare manuscripts in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English.

Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) or LaTeX format. Authors are encouraged to use the official Journal template for the final accepted version.


Article Structure

A typical manuscript should include, where applicable:

  • Title
  • Author(s) and Affiliation(s)
  • Corresponding Author
  • ORCID iD (strongly recommended)
  • Abstract
  • Keywords
  • Introduction
  • Materials and Methods / Methodology
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Author Contributions
  • Funding Statement
  • Acknowledgements
  • Conflict of Interest Statement
  • Data Availability Statement
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) Disclosure Statement (where applicable)
  • References

References

References should be complete, accurate, and formatted according to the Journal's required citation style.

Authors are encouraged to include Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) whenever available.

Every reference cited in the text must appear in the reference list, and every reference in the reference list must be cited within the manuscript.


Figures and Tables

Figures and tables should:

  • Be numbered consecutively.
  • Be cited in the text.
  • Include descriptive captions.
  • Be of publication quality.

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material where required.


Language Quality

Authors are responsible for ensuring that manuscripts are written in high-quality academic English prior to submission.

The Editorial Office may request language revision before the manuscript proceeds to peer review or publication.

Authors must comply with the Journal's:

Before Submission

Before submitting a manuscript, authors should ensure that:

  • The manuscript is original.
  • The manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere.
  • All authors have approved the submission.
  • All required declarations have been included.
  • The manuscript falls within the Journal's scope.
