Publication Fees
The International Journal of Advances in Soft Computing and its Applications (IJASCA) is committed to disseminating high-quality scholarly research through a Fully Open Access publishing model. All published articles are made immediately and permanently accessible to readers worldwide without subscription or access barriers.
Authors are not required to pay any Article Submission Fee. Manuscripts may be submitted, undergo editorial assessment, and complete the peer-review process free of charge.
An Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 750.00 is payable only after a manuscript has successfully completed the peer-review process and has received a final editorial decision of acceptance. After the manuscript receives a final editorial acceptance decision, the Editorial Office will send the author an invoice and payment instructions. The official Acceptance Letter will be issued only after the publication fee has been received and verified. The scientific acceptance decision is made independently of payment.
The APC is intended solely to support the costs associated with professional scholarly publishing and to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Journal's Open Access publishing model. The APC does not influence editorial decisions and does not guarantee publication. Editorial decisions are based exclusively on the scientific quality, originality, technical soundness, ethical compliance, and relevance of the submitted manuscript.
The APC contributes to covering the costs associated with:
- Editorial management and manuscript administration.
- Double-blind peer-review management.
- Technical and language quality control.
- Similarity screening and research integrity verification.
- Copyediting, layout editing, and production.
- DOI registration and metadata preparation.
- Online publication through the Journal's Open Journal Systems (OJS).
- Digital preservation and long-term archiving.
- Indexing support and dissemination through scholarly databases.
- Website maintenance and continuous improvement of publishing services.
The standard APC covers manuscripts of up to 15 published pages. For manuscripts exceeding this limit, an additional charge of USD 15.00 per published page will apply.
As a Fully Open Access Journal, IJASCA does not charge subscription fees to readers. Instead, publication costs are supported through APCs, allowing all published articles to be freely available to researchers, educators, practitioners, policymakers, and the wider public immediately upon publication.
Authors retain the copyright of their published work. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, adaptation, and reproduction in any medium, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the Journal.
IJASCA applies the published fee schedule equally to all authors and does not currently offer fee waivers or discounts. Payment instructions and refund and cancellation conditions are set out below. All charges collected by the Journal will be disclosed before payment.

The International Journal of Advances in Soft Computing and its Applications (IJASCA) is published by Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan.
Publication fees may be collected either through Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan or through the UK-registered company identified below, as specified in the official invoice and payment instructions issued by the Editorial Office.

Payment Instructions
The official invoice will identify the payment recipient, amount, currency, and payment method applicable to the manuscript. Authors should use only the payment route specified on their invoice and should not pay both recipients.

The payment collection route does not affect peer review or editorial decisions.
No fees are charged for manuscript submission or peer review. Payment is requested only after a final editorial acceptance decision.

In the payment description or reference field, enter your invoice number. You may also include the corresponding author’s name and a shortened manuscript title.

After payment, send the receipt and invoice number to ijasca@zuj.edu.jo for verification.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Authors should review this policy before making a payment.
If authors voluntarily withdraw an accepted manuscript after payment has been received and the formal Acceptance Letter has been issued, the publication fee is normally non-refundable.
Verified duplicate payments and overpayments will be refunded. If the Journal cannot provide the agreed publication service for reasons attributable to the Journal, the fee will be refunded. Other requests, including requests received before issuance of the formal Acceptance Letter, will be assessed individually and the decision explained in writing. Applicable legal refund rights remain unaffected.
Before publication, authors may request revisions or a temporary publication deferral to resolve an outstanding issue. Such requests are subject to editorial assessment, and substantial revisions may require further peer review.
Withdrawal requests and refund eligibility are considered separately. Financial disputes do not prevent the Journal from taking necessary action to address scientific or ethical concerns.
If a manuscript is withdrawn or its acceptance is revoked, any previously issued Acceptance Letter becomes invalid.
Published articles are handled under the Journal’s correction, expression of concern, and retraction procedures, guided by relevant COPE recommendations. Payment or issuance of an Acceptance Letter does not prevent these actions.
Requests should be sent to ijasca@zuj.edu.jo and include the manuscript ID, invoice number, payment receipt, and explanation of the request. Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payer through the original payment method.
These financial conditions are IJASCA’s own terms; they are not refund rules prescribed by COPE.

Authors are responsible for completing the required revisions, providing accurate information and necessary permissions, and approving the final proofs. Substantial revisions may require further editorial assessment or peer review.
The Editorial Office will communicate the expected publication schedule and any material changes. Requests for withdrawal, publication deferral, or refunds will be handled under the Refund and Cancellation Policy on this page.
Payment does not influence editorial decisions or prevent necessary corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions. The Journal does not guarantee citations or the inclusion or timing of an individual article in third-party indexing databases.
